Rust proof spray paint for kitchen surfaces?

So I buy this $ 800 Charmglow grill The Home Depot to the top of the grill line cast iron grates and porcelain coated because I'm tired of $ 100 versions of rust and require replacement every 1 to 2 years. I've had it for about 8 months and sure enough, the shelves begin oxidation. I have an indoor barbecue, but there have been times when I used the grill and forgot to cover after it cooled and it rained that night. Replacement screens are $ 40 a piece and I've been doing some research trying to find a spray on product to prevent oxidation, control and secure high heat for cooking. Rutland Stove Paint've found that can handle heat up 1200 degrees and is for barbecues and stove tops, but do not actually mention that it is safe for cooking. Does anyone know if this or any other product that will be a cheap alternative to Replacement grates every few months?

There is not a paint that is safe for cooking. Clean mold off of your grill, then follow the instructions spice in your owner's manual. If you can not find a way to season in the manual, look it up on the internet. Should be the same as cast iron pans.
