Any ideas on foods to use when catering a wedding.?

I am having a medium sized , casual outdoor wedding on a creek and I need some ideas of things to ask the caterer to serve. I would appreciate any advice. I am serving barbecue at the reception and would love some cute ideas.

If you’re having a barbecue, then shish-ka-bob are a good idea. They are usually some sort of meat (beef, chicken or pork), onion, bell peppers, mushrooms on a skewer. Serve rice and a salad, rolls and wedding cake. As someone else suggested – strawberry soup as an appetizer would be good, too. You could have the caterer make some sort of dipping type sauce for the ka-bobs. A cucumber-dill sauce (Tzatziki sauce) and some barbecue sauce would be great. Good luck and Congrats!
